A manuscript evaluation can be a more affordable and less overwhelming option for authors than a full developmental edit.

This is another in-depth analysis of your manuscript, but it excludes manuscript markups.

Therefore, I’ll analyze your manuscript’s big-picture issues, but I won’t provide specific potential solutions or in-line comments in the manuscript.

You’ll still receive the following:

• Overall view of compatibility between romantic interests (romance) and/or world-building (fantasy) details are consistent

• Suggestions on altering scenes: cutting, merging, and/or moving them to improve other big-picture elements like structure or pacing

• Raise logic or believability issues that could impede on the story engine (what keeps the readers turning the page)

• Manuscript has too many telling moments in the story

• Short analysis of how genre conventions meet reader expectations

• Pacing is too fast or too slow with plot/structure or romantic development

Deliverables:

• An editorial letter (7 - 13 pages) covering your manuscript's main strengths and weaknesses

• 4 - 6 hours of complimentary email support
