Developmental Editor & Book Coach

Specializing in Romance

Whether you write fantasy romance or MM romance, you’re always hit with that “I finally finished” zing when you type The End.

After the euphoria dissipates, you’re left wondering how you’re going to tackle the big-picture issues in your manuscript.

Take a deep breath.

Sometimes, you need a professional companion guiding you through the dark night of the soul (an editor) before you can glimpse the sunrise.

I’ll be your supportive editor or book coach who will illuminate potential solutions to improve the chemistry between your romantic interests or help you create more realistic characters.

All these brainstorming ideas will be shared via in-line manuscript markups, editorial or critique letters, and limited complimentary email support.

One thing to keep in mind is always figuring out what resonates with your vision of your story when you’re ready for revisions.

Do you have a story idea, but you can’t figure out how to write the outline? Or maybe you have the outline finished, but you’re stuck on how to start the first chapter. If any of these questions resonate with you, my book coaching packages can help.

  • Scene Outline Critique

Do you need help finishing your outline? Or do you need the structure and plot analyzed before you start writing the story? This service is ideal for writers who aren’t finished writing their outline, haven’t started writing their story, or aren’t ready for the developmental editing stage.

  • Manuscript Evaluation

Do you need developmental editing help, but you don’t want to be overwhelmed with too much feedback or need more financial assistance? This service involves less scope of work and can be more affordable for you.

  • Developmental Edit

Have you self-edited your manuscript as much as possible? Does it still have big-picture issues like plot holes or unrealistic dialogue? I’ll analyze big-picture issues in your manuscript and provide one or more potential solutions.
